A FIRM of North East Solicitors is offering a free will writing service up until the end of the month, after joining forces with Macmillan Cancer Support.
For the rest of November, Stewart & Watson will waive the fees for the preparation of a simple will, and instead ask clients to make a donation to the cancer research charity.
“Stewart & Watson are very proud to have been asked to use our legal expertise to help Macmillan Cancer Support”, said Jennifer Burnett, a partner at the firm. “The money raised from this will-writing initiative will help Macmillan to provide vital support services to people affected by cancer.”
Macmillan spokeswoman Sheryl Wootton added: “We are extremely grateful to Stewart & Watson for supporting Macmillan through this initiative. Whether people choose to donate now, in their wills or both, their support is vital to ensuring that more services like providing financial grants will be available to future generations of people affected by cancer in the North East”.
