Diana said: “Storytelling uses a variety of different approaches to make it memorable and magical for those listening and taking part.”

Registered storyteller Diana, started Once upon a tune in February 2001 and is keen to expand her work.

She added: “It would be great to expand what I do with schools and groups for primary age children throughout the North-east - with school project sessions, end of term treats, parties and events. I am always adding new themes, using new props and varying the music, improving things and developing new ideas.”

“I hope that individuals, pre-school groups, primary schools, ASN bases, schools/care groups for people with learning disabilities will be inspired to make bookings and find out why ‘Once upon a tune’ is proving so popular.”

Babies and pre-school children can attend Halloween sessions at Blackburn on Wednesday, October 29 on Friday, October 31 from 10-11am and Christmas sessions on Wednesday, December 10 and Friday, December 12 from 10-11am.
