The Foos Yer Doos Singing Group in Inverurie was the latest recipient of a Community Initiative Grant from The Garioch Partnership. Pictured are the delighted members accepting the award from Anne Simpson, the Partnership’s development worker.
Foos Yer Doos Sing Song Club is a free, weekly, drop in singing group open to anyone living with a neurological condition such as dementia, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease or stroke. Carers, friends and family are also welcome to attend. The club provides the opportunity to join in the fun, sing songs old and new, and meet others in similar circumstances.
The group meets weekly on Thursdays from 11am at St Mary’s Centre, St Mary’s Church, High Street, Inverurie. Singing starts around 11am for an hour, followed by tea and coffee.
