Ellon Parish Church Drama Group is putting the final touches to its Christmas pantomime.
Sleeping Beauty will begin its run in the Kirk Centre this Saturday.
Spokeswoman Jenny Green said: “This year’s pantomime has some old and new faces.
“Denise Goodwin has taken over the role of director from Sean Harrison after several years of fulfilling an
assistant director role while delivering onstage performances.
“Many old faces in the cast, with their comedy acting, singing and some Morris dancing, will give an audience of all ages, a couple of hours of light entertainment in the traditional spirit of Christmas pantomime.”
Saturday and Sunday afternoon tickets are sold out but some are left for Monday and Tuesday evenings and the early Sunday evening performance at 6pm, with the show lasting for around two hours.
Saturday’s show is at 4pm, Sunday’s at 2.30pm and 6pm, and 7pm on Monday and Tuesday. Tickets are £6 for adults and £4 for children up to P7.
They are on sale at the Kirk Centre coffee shop, from cast members, by calling Liz on 01358 721504 (group bookings), Shona on 07866 067736 and Ann on 07851 720203, or at the door for evening performances.
