PUPILS at Udny Green Primary School welcomed parents and visitors to their Daffodil Community Café Friday, with the aim of raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Visitors were treated to homebakes and tea in the school’s assembly hall, before being entertained by musical performances from pupils.
Administrator Susan Swinney told the Times that the event took place every year, and was always popular with the community.
“Funds raised on the day will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care - we’ve had a very good turnout,” she said. “We’d also like to thank Warburtons for donating pancakes, bread and scones to the school. They do it every year, and it’s a big help.”
