Revellers turn out in force for Ellon’s Hogmamay party.
Gig at the Brig attracted around 2000 people to the town centre for the New Year extravaganza.
The bash is now in its third year and organisers Ellon Events hailed it another success.
Wayne Baber, who organised the event, said: “It was a really good night. Numbers were similar to previous years, around 2000.
“Each band had rave reviews on the night. The mixture meant everyone was catered for, which isn’t easy but seemed to be near perfect.
“We appreciate all the feedback and especially the offers of help from people totally unconnected with the event.
“There were many comments about this being the best yet, people were arriving earlier and stayed later which is a good sign.”
The gig was headlined by Scots rockers Big Country who delighted the crowd by playing their biggest hits.
Local bands Trace, from Ellon, Uniform, from Newmachar, and trubute group Take This completed the night’s entertainment.
