Ellon Cinema will screen its first ever live broadcast via satellite at the Victoria Hall next week.
Sir Cliff Richard’s 60th Anniversary Tour will be screened live in cinemas across the UK and Ireland next Friday (October 12).
The show will begin at 8pm, but doors will open at 7.15pm.
The Ellon Cinema team said: “Already tickets are being booked at a steady rate and we are expecting this to continue right up to the day.”
This year marks Sir Cliff’s 60th anniversary in the music business, and to celebrate he will bring his concert live from Manchester Bridgewater Hall to cinemas across the country.
Presented by CinemaLive, leading producers and distributors of Event Cinema, Cliff Richard Live: 60th Anniversary Tour will be shown on over 700 screens in the UK and Ireland including major multiplexes and many independent cinemas and arts centres.

October is proving to be a very busy month for the Victoria Hall.
This Sunday (October 7) will see the return of the Scottish Accordion Music Group to perform their annual performance from 2.30pm.
This year they will be joined by two very special Aberdeenshire guests to be revealed at the event.
Tickets for this event are £5 and will be available to purchase at the door.
Later in the month Ellon Cinema will return with Matthew Bourn’s Cinderella Ballet, set to Prokofiev’s music score played by a 60-piece orchestra.
The show has a thrilling and evocative love story, set in London during the Second World War, which forms part of the company’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
Matthew Bourne’s interpretation of the classic fairy tale has, at its heart, a true war-time romance.
The ballet production will run on Friday, October 26 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £10 or £8 for concessions and can be purchased from the Victoria Hall website.
