Special guest Santa Claus visited the four-legged party-goers and gave each of them a Christmas gift.

All money raised from the admission fee and raffles was donated to Keith and Pauline Marley of local animal rescue centre, The New Arc.

Keith and Pauline judged the fancy dress competition on the night.

Pauline said: “It was very tough to choose the winners.

Keith added: “The entrants were all of a very high standard and they were all very well behaved - and that goes for the owners too.”

The event raised more than £400 for The New Arc.

Dog trainer Myra Stewart, who has been running the classes for 28 years, said: “We have had a great turnout and I’d like to thank my helpers.”
