AN ELLON man who died recently has bequeathed £200 to the town’s Health Centre in recognition of the good work done there.
Jessie Simpson handed the cheque to GPs representing the practice in a low-key presentation at the Health Centre on Thursday. Her husband, David, passed away recently from cancer and leukaemia, after a long battle with the illnesses. Mrs Simpson told the Times: “The clinic provided a very good service, and my husband hadn’t a bad word to say about the Health Centre, so we arranged for this money to be handed over after his death. It’s an excellent facility, and always busy.”
