Local organisations in Ellon have grouped together to offer up a festive market every week in the town for shoppers.
The town’s Resource Centre hold a pop-up shop on a Friday in the Ythan Centre which also allows four service users to gain shop work experience.
Senior Day Centre Officer at the Centre - Helen Henderson - thought it would be a good idea to join forces with their own training projects in the town.
Helen said: “I thought it might be good for our profile and for our allied projects such as Benchmark and Can-Do to have a Christmas market in the hall at the Ythan Centre and luckily, it was available on Wednesdays.”
The market runs from 10am to 2pm every Wednesday until December 17.
A wide range of items will be on offer for the whole family.
Helen added: “We will have two stalls from Fair Trade, decorations and cards from the Resource Centre, a Benchmark stall, a Can-Do stall, The Inverythan Centre (arts & crafts) and Ellon Ladies Who Craft (knitted goods and much more) will be there every week and other stalls.”
