ON February 18, the 30th annual Esslemont Farm Dance took place at the Station Hotel in Ellon, with dancing to the Donside Sound.
Those in attendance were treated to an excellent meal, followed by a superb display and selection of sweets and home baking, which left everyone very satisfied.
A charity auction was held, and the auctioneer for the evening was John Angus of Aberdeen Northern Marts. A large raffle also took place along with a cash collection.
All the proceeds from the evening were given to the Children’s Hospice Association (CHAS), with a final collected total of £1955 which has now been handed over.
The Farm wishes to thank all who came to the dance, donated and gave so generously to what is a very worthy cause.
Special thanks go to Evelyn Elphinstone, for her efficient work, and to Flo for her extreme dedication and labours. The organisers would also like to thank all the other ladies who worked so hard on the night, and made it a memorable evening for all involved.
