Ythanbank Fishery and Reindeer Centre have four furry reindeers - Saturn, Neptune, Zeus and Mars - who are all just two-years-old.

Get up close and personal and feed them from the palm of your hand or from a bowl if you prefer.

Make some magic memories by taking your own photos in Santa’s sleigh and don’t forget to post your letter in time in the special postbox.

Santa’s Grotto is next door and will be open at the weekends.

Scott and Elaine Jones have been building on the site since February and are very excited about the opening.

The pair live on site with their two children, Sean, aged 13 and five-year-old Eve.

Elaine told the Times: “After all the hard work this year, it will be a relief to open. It will be good to see the look on people’s faces when they see a reindeer.

“We want this to be an experience that people remember in the years to come.”

Head along from November 30 - December 24 from 10am-4pm daily.
