An Ellon musician’s love of the clarinet has prompted him to

release his fifth CD featuring more of his favourite tunes.

Tommy Sutherland, who originates from Shetland but has lived in the North-East of Scotland for around 35 years, has been working hard on ‘At Last Take Five’.

His new release is another 16-track compilation of big band and easy listening music tracks.

Among the many songs featured on the CD are ‘You Make Me Feel So Young’, ‘Down Town’ and ‘Baby it’s Cold Outside’.

One track in particular, ‘Looking Back’, was composed by Tommy himself and he hopes all of his listeners will enjoy it.

Tommy would also like to thank his son Colin who is a very talented and accomplished musician for accompaniment with his accordion on Tracks 2, 10, and solo Tracks 8 and 13.

Tommy’s new CD is available From J.R.D. Equipment in Ellon and copies are priced at £10.

This new release is extra special as his son Colin also features on it.

Tommy’s first record release ‘At Last’ was released in 2013 and was followed by ‘At Last...Take Two’ in 2014 which featured a compilation of his best-loved tracks.

His love of the clarinet led to ‘At Last...Take Three’, which went on sale in 2015, and his last record, ‘At Last Take 4’ was released last summer.

Clarinet king Tommy said he went back into the studio following requests from lovers of his music.
