Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has announced a key appointment.
Former area co-ordinator Andy Coueslant has been named as the new deputy assistant chief officer and head of service delivery in the north of Scotland.
Last year, the service devised a new, streamlined management structure across Scotland with the creation of three new deputy assistant chief officer posts, which became effective in January.
Mr Coueslant’s role takes in the former Grampian, Highlands and Islands and Tayside areas.
He joined Grampian Fire and Rescue Service in 1986.
