SENIOR Partners and colleagues gathered at Inverurie branch of Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace to celebrate the retirement of Muriel Spence who leaves after almost 13 years as a legal secretary.
Muriel has been an integral part of the branch and was there at the beginning, when the branch opened 12 years ago.
Muriel commented: “I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace and will miss it and the people there very much. Being a lady of leisure won’t be my top priority for very long as I plan to make good use of my time working through the 114 bowling matches I have ahead of me.”
As Secretary of the Bennachie Bowling Association, Muriel plans to dedicate more of her time to her much loved hobby.
Elizabeth Merson, Branch Principal of the Inverurie office added: “Muriel will be greatly missed as she has been a valued member of our team. She is well known and respected within the legal community in Inverurie and has received flowers and good wishes from other solicitors in the area. I am personally very grateful to Muriel, who postponed her retirement plans last year to be my right hand woman and help me settle in as new Branch Principal. We all wish her a very long and happy retirement”.
