An Ellon group has received funding from the STV Children’s Appeal.
Rainbow Rogues was awarded £2,000 to support its work to improve the lives of children and young people in the local community.
The Ellon group provides quality play experiences for children and siblings under the age of five, and supports parents and carers, who often experience anger, grief and bewilderment when their child is given a life changing diagnosis.
Sally Sheehan, Manager of Rainbow Rogues, said: “Coming to the group can make all the difference when families feel isolated and unsure what the future holds.
“We’ve seen parents make lasting friendships here, and finding strength they never knew they had.
“Thank you to STV Children’s Appeal for supporting our work.”
