A new fund-raising campaign is under way in the North-east to help people with cancer.
Maggie’s Aberdeen has launched Maggie’s Kitchen Table Day - Gather and Give, which will be held on February 26 next year.
The initiative will see friends, families and colleagues create their own events so they can “gather and give” to make a difference for people affected by the disease.
The big kitchen table is at the heart of Maggie’s Aberdeen as a place where people come together to talk and share their experiences.
Award-winning chef and owner of Udny’s Eat On The Green, Craig Wilson, Stewart Spence, owner of Aberdeen’s five-star Marcliffe Hotel and Masterchef finalist and head chef at Moonfish Cafe in Aberdeen, Brian Mcleish, have all signed up to become campaign ambassadors for the big day.
