Do you have a little spare time and some digital knowledge to consider becoming a recordist for Ellon Talking Newspaper?
There are six teams providing this service so the commitment is once every six weeks for around two hours.
The recording of the Ellon Times takes place in Ellon Library in Station Road on Thursday evenings.
Ellon Talking Newspaper relies on volunteers to record local news for visually impaired recipients.
Although the group have a large number of reader volunteers, it is more difficult to find people who are prepared to take on the more technical side of the work.
If you can help the group with recordings, for which full training will be given, please contact the Chairperson of Ellon Talking Newspaper, Elizabeth Cameron, on 01358 720130 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
