Haddo House is to open for tours seven days a week

The National Trust for Scotland says the move has been made possible thanks to the support and commitment of its staff and volunteers, who are keen to share the various delights of Haddo House.

Visitors to Haddo can find out more about the fascinating family home of the Earls and Marquesses of Aberdeen, marvel at the spectacular Georgian architecture of William Adam and subsequent designs, appreciate the lavish art and furniture of the Victorian era, understand how previous generations lived and worked on a large Scottish estate, and enjoy the ever changing Terrace Gardens of Haddo House and the expansive designed landscape of Haddo Country Park.

While there guests can also visit the Haddo House Tearoom for a delicious cake or scone.

Weekday tours at Haddo will run at 12pm and 2pm, while weekend tours will run on an hourly basis from 11:30am until 3:30pm.

The Tearoom and shop opening hours are 11am - 5pm daily.

In addition to the standard House Tours, new specialist tours will be in operation.

Caring for Haddo gives a ‘behind the scenes’ insight to how staff care for the collection at Haddo, and the Haddo Garden Tour is a guided walk looking at the inspiration behind Haddo House’s terrace gardens and future plans.
