A new path linking Haddo Country Park and Methlick has been opened.

Following many months of hard work and effort, together with cooperation from the owners of the Haddo Estate, the new link path was officially opened on Monday, April 23 by Lady Aberdeen.

The path connects Haddo Country Park and all of its associated multi-user routes with the village of Methlick, from where it is possible to follow an already existing path network.

With the opening of this new Haddo link path, anyone can now easily follow a trail all of the way from Haddo House to Gight Castle.

The path has been created specifically for a wide range of people making it suitable for walkers, cyclists, pushchairs and wheelchair users.

The path was created thanks to the Formartine Partnership.
