Ellon residents are being encouraged to have their say about Ellon and its future.
The Ellon Now, Ellon New project is supported by Aberdeenshire Council and the Scottish Government's Making Places Programme.
It provides an opportunity for the communities of Ellon to actively take part in developing ideas for the town centre - to come together, talk about issues and develop plans for the future.
The study team will undertake an initial programme of community engagement today and tomorrow (Friday 22 and Saturday 23 February) to give residents the chance to discuss and complete surveys about Ellon's current strengths and weaknesses, using the Scottish Government's 'Place Standard' approach.
The following engagement sessions will be held:
Friday, February 22
Ellon Community Campus (5-9pm) - Interviews and questionnaire completion in the foyer.
Ellon Meadows (5-9pm) - Interviews and questionnaire completion with people taking part in individual and group activities.
Saturday, February 23
Buchan Hotel conservatory/Drop-ins and town centre walk rounds (9am to 3pm) - On the hour walk rounds will be held from 10am to 2pm and people are invited to drop in and take part or chat to a member of the study team.
Ellon Community Campus (9am to 12 noon) - Interviews and questionnaire completion in the foyer.
