Methlick FunD Run this weekend

The 9th annual Methlick FunD Run will be held this Saturday (April 6).

The event will start at 10am from Methlick Cricket Pitch, outside the Beaton Hall.

Two routes will be available - a 5k and 10k and both runners and walkers are welcome to sign up and take part.

Money raised through the event will be donated to New Life Homes, a charity that cares for abandoned babies across Kenya.

Entry is £10 for all runners or walkers, and can be paid at registration.

The £10 entry fee will help to provide a bed, milk, food, clothes, toys and medical care to some of the neediest children in Kenya.

Registration will be available from 9pm in the Scout Hut which is located directly behing the Beaton Hall.

Younger children from P1-P7 can also take part in the event by running laps of the cricket pitch.

Parental permission is required for everyone under 18 years.

Sponsors are optional, but please bring your money on the day, or you can simply turn up on the day and pay a £10 registration to run.
