Mears Care held an open day at its new Ellon base on Wednesday, February 13.

Over 100 people visited throughout the day and enjoyed visits from Bob’s Buddies and The Critter Keeper.

Those who went along took part in competitions, games and a tombola to raise money for charity.

Service manager, Nicola Keenan, said: “We raised over £500 that will be donated to Sense Scotland.

"One of our aims is to integrate with the community so we hope to set up our first drop-in session here on Friday, March 15."

Mears Care moved to Ellon from Aberdeen in December.

It provides care at home service and housing support to clients in the local area.

The firm can be found at 5 The Square, above the Bank of Scotland.
