A former Ellon Academy pupil has won the title of Miss Aberdeen 2017 at the Platinum Promotions Miss Year pageant.
Sherylanne Green (26), formerly of Tarves, took part in the pageant on Saturday, July 8 and was her first win on stage.
The mum-of-one is no stranger to the glamourous events, having now competed in 13 pageants, and Sherylanne has previously been named Miss Year Highland 2015.
Her first pageant was Ubergirl Aberdeen held in 2011.
Sherylanne has also won pageant awards for Best Catwalk three times, Best Dressed, Outstanding Effort Award, Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic, amongst others.
Speaking to the Times, Sherylanne said: “The pageant raised money for Lily’s Fund charity and contestants also raised money for other charities.”

“My first appearance is on Saturday, July 22 in Stonehaven at the Fun Day in memory of Eileidh who recently died aged 5.”
The Fun Day for Eileidh’s Bucket List will be held at Stonehaven Town Hall from 1-4pm.
The youngster had been fighting with Stage 4 High Risk neuroblastoma and sadly passed away on Saturday, July 1.
Money raised on the day will go to her family to achieve Eileidh’s bucket list.
