The party was attended by over 70 people and a great time was had by all.

There was a farming theme to the evening with many of the guests entering into the spirit of things by dressing up. The DJ also played a variety of well known “agricultural” classics to liven up the celebrations.

Instead of gifts, the family requested that donations be made to The Firefighters Charity.

In total £312 was raised. Raymond would like to express his sincere gratitude to everyone for their kind support and generosity.

Amongst other things, the money raised will go towards funding the recuperation and rehabilitation centre for injured and unwell firefighters and their families at Jubilee House in Penrith.

This facility has been used to benefit several firefighters in the local area in recent years and the excellent work there could not continue without the tremendous fundraising efforts of the public.
