Organisers of a recent postcard fair in Inverurie are likely to repeat the event.
It was a joint effort between Grampian Postcard Club and North East Fairs, which runs the only regular stamp and postcard get-togethers in the northern part of Scotland.
The event was held in the West Church Hall and officials described it as an “excellent facility and conveniently located”.
Organiser Chad Neighbor said: “We had a good attendance with the hall staying busy for most of the day and a bit of a buzz.
“The dealers were quite happy and the collectors seemed to find plenty of interest.”
He added: “This is only the second postcard fair in Scotland and by far the furthest north, with the other Scottish event being in Glasgow.
“We are quite likely to repeat it, given that it was well supported by collectors and dealers
“We had dealers in postcards, stamps and coins from as far away as Ayrshire plus a table manned by the North East Family History Society.
“The club had several displays and signed up a new member on the day.”
The postcard club meets on the second Monday of the month at 7pm in Inverurie’s Garioch Community Centre.
New members are welcome.
