She has been a wonderful Headteacher at Pitmedden for nearly 8 years.
After almost 40 years of teaching, she has decided to take her well deserved retirement.

She said: “I decided to leave the children a tree as a leaving gift as a symbol of growth, change and continuity.
“Plants and trees, as any gardener knows need to be nurtured to grow and produce the best crop, our children in our community need the same.
“If we nurture our children and our families, we can all make the world a much happier place to live and enable our children to grow and develop to reach out and be their best selves.”
