Three Ellon born sportswomen who have all represented Scotland were the latest stars of ‘’A Night With’’ in the Tolbooth Lounge.
A packed house were entertained and enthralled by the exploits of the trio in their chosen sporting fields.
Fiona Campbell (Cricket), Michele Thomson (Golf), and Emma Wassell (Rugby) were the guests of host Jack Nixon.
Jack said: “The three were just tremendous, displaying an enthusiasm for the sports which have won them international honours.
“With respect to all my previous guests this was the best night we have had to date, proving the town has a wealth of sporting talent. They are wonderful ambassadors.”
Tolbooth owner, Martin Smith was also delighted by the success of the night which was a fundraiser for Mental Health.
The next show will be on Thursday, November 21 when Dons legend Joe Harper will be joined by Ian Taylor, another star of the soccer scene of Scottish who played for Aberdeen, Motherwell and St Johnstone.
Jack added: “It will be a great chance to celebrate Joe Harper’s recent induction to the SFA’s Hall of Fame.”
