A public engagement and stakeholder event is being held shortly to discuss Ellon’s flood risks.

Aberdeenshire Council, Dougall Baillie Associates and JBA Consulting will host the drop-in information session on Wednesday, September 4 at the New Inn Hotel.

The local authority is currently working with Dougall Baillie Associates and JBA Consulting to evaluate flood risk within Ellon and would appreciate input from both the local community and other stakeholders on the preferred flood protection option being considered.

Interested parties can drop in any time between 2.30pm and 7.30pm when representatives will provide further information on the flood study and to talk through the potential flood protection option.

This will be a final opportunity to provide comments on the preferred option prior to submission to the Scottish Government.
