Primary 7 pupils at Tarves School held a coffee morning last month for charity.

The pupils held their fundraising event on Friday, April 27 in aid of Friends of Anchor.

Parents and residents of Tarves were invited along.

The event was originally due to be held in March but had to be rescheduled as the school was closed because of the snow.

Pupils were delighted to have a pink lorry from Jamieson come along to the event too.

Gemma from Jamieson’s had been helping Miss Slesser with some promotional items and arranged for the lorry to be at the school.

Pupils made posters and displayed them around the village.

They also made lots of homebakes and those who went along received a cup of tea or coffee and a fancy piece for £2.50. Hampers were raffled off and there was also a guess the teddy bears’ favourite song.

The total amount raised was £729.49.
