Spotlight Theatre at Inverurie Town Hall

Local performers Spotlight Theatre Group are promising a combination of murder, intrigue and laughs with this year’s performance “Mystery at Greenfingers”.

The J B Priestly play is set in 1938 at the Greenfingers Palace Hotel in Derbyshire, where staff are marooned, snowbound, busily preparing for the hotel’s opening. Work comes to a standstill as they are interrogated by the bumbling house detective Crowther after the mysterious disappearance of an unexpected guest.

Carefully crafted characters come alive as the mystery unfolds through three acts of lies, romance and intrigue- which will keep you guessing until the very end.

The group will be performing three nights in Inverurie Town Hall from Thursday May 29, to Saturday, May 31, at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7pm.

Tickets are available from Mitchell’s Dairy or on the door on the night. This is a licensed event with cabaret seating.

Spotlight Theatre group is hoping to recruit new members after this play. Please ask a member of the support staff at the performance or contact us through
