Stagecoach are to help people out of work in Aberdeen City & Shire with recruitment of 30 new drivers before the end of the year.
Due to continuing expansion, Stagecoach Bluebird are recruiting people into the bus industry.
Before the end of the year the company islooking to employ up to 30 staff between their busy Aberdeen, Peterhead, Ballater, Insch and Stonehaven depots.
Stagecoach Bluebird have invested almost £8 million in the area throughout 2012 and as a result of the significant investment and route improvements the company require additional drivers.
The company are welcoming PCV licence holders in particular and have launched an incentive scheme to encourage applications.
Andrew Jarvis, managing director for Stagecoach Bluebird, said: “For those who currently hold a PCV licence there has never been a better time to join the company as we are welcoming new employees with a £600 cash incentive, non PCV licence holders are of course welcome to apply however.”
Stagecoach already employ around 530 staff in the North East of Scotland, over 400 of these are bus drivers.
