An Udny cafe has been named as a finalist in the upcoming Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards.
The Coffee Apothecary is a finalist in the Best Newcomer category.
Cafe owner Ali Aspden said: “We are really excited to have reached the final.
“It is an award that any entertainment or hospitality business that had recently opened anywhere in Scotland could have been on the final list for, so there was a lot of competition.
“We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us and got us this far. It is incredible to be nominated and all the support we have received reassures us we are doing something right!”
The Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards attracts over 1,000 businesses to compete annually, and is growing year on year.
The Udny cafe has already received a visit from three judges so all Ali and husband Jonny can do it wait.
The Coffee Apothecary will find out if they have won at the VIP final that is being held at the Glasgow City Hotel on Sunday, May 8.
