There may not have been in any clouds in the sky over Arbroath this afternoon (Saturday) but there were plenty of vapour trails when the Red Arrows came to town.
The blazing blue skies above the cliffs played host to the RAF’s finest pilots as part of the inaugural Arbroath Festival of Heroes Specsavers Spectacular which celebrated the role of heroes in our community from every walk of life.
Their dazzling skills and daring wowed the large crowd which turned out for the festival and is one of only three dates this year for the Red Arrows.
It was a full day of events at the Festival, including a simulated assault on a fixed position by elements of the British Army, a Masterchef style face-off in an Army kitchen, live music and a funfair.
Keep your eyes peeled for more coverage of the action over the weekend.
