An Ellon couple are getting prepared to start making their popular holly wreaths in time for Christmas.
John and Caroline Doherty will begin making the wreaths throughout November and December.
All money raised through sales of the wreaths will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
Last year the couple were delighted to have raised over £3,000 for the charity and they are hoping to raise a similar amount this year.
John and Caroline’s holly wreaths will be on sale at the Ellon Christmas lights switch on event at the Riverside Car Park on Saturday, November 17, Ellon Farmers Market on Saturday, November 24 and Meiklemill School on Saturday, December 1.
The wreaths will cost £14.
Each wreath is created from scratch by John while Caroline adds the finishing touches.
