At Kintore’s WRI, President Ann Marston welcomed members to their January Fun Night.

There was Call My Bluff doric style, horoscopes read and humorous poetry, ‘Quess What Your Are Holding’.

Competition results: Flower of the Month: Evelyn Murray, Betty Heron, Liz Leil; A jar of marmalade: Sheila Gray, Lorraine Reid, Margaret Farrquharson; 5 line limerick: Gladys Duguid, May Forman, Liz Leil.

After tea, raffles and the vote of thanks by Ann Marston, the meeting ended.

Next meet :February 4 at 6.30pm celebrating their 90th birthday at the Strathburn Hotel, Inverurie.

In December, Fetternear celebrated their 93rd birthday with a visit to the Inverurie Pantomine.

In January, President, Elsie Murray welcomed members to the first meeting of 2014 with arrangements made for the Scotch Night on March 7 at 7.30pm.

Dorothy Grant gave a demonstration of patchwork before a tasty display of savoury and sweet food was enjoyed. Teas were served by Lindsay Smith and Helen Reid.

Iris Keith ran the raffle and gave the vote of thanks for a very enjoyable evening.
