Locos co- manager Scott Buchan knew exactly the reasons for defeat.
He said, “We totally dominated from start to finish. It’s something we’ve never had to say but we lacked quality in the final third. There were wrong decisions made, being greedy, not trying to get on the end of things and the corners and free kicks we had weren’t attacked.
“From open play it was more often strikers putting the balls in from open play, there were no midfield runners. It was pretty sickening to be hit by a sucker punch and it was a real shame for our central defenders who made one basic error and were punished. I feel sorry for them.
“There were waves of attacks from us, corner after corner, but our inability to put the ball in the net cost us, we should have won the game very very comfortably.
“We had no problem with the effort and attitude, we do have quality but there are guys still out who could have added to that, it’s part and parcel of football. It was one of those days the ball wouldn’t go in”
