Colony Locos had Sonehaven as visitors to GSC and the tempo was quick from the start with the home side very much on the front foot and taking game to opposition.

On the 20 minute mark a good passing move came to Leslie who threaded a ball between the centre back and left back for Watt to run onto an just outside the area drilled a low ball across the area for HAY who made no mistake. With 35 minutes gone a Stonehaven move was thwarted on the edge of the Colony box, Laird fed Hay who turned and fed McCABE who then beat the full back, cut inside and drilled the ball past the keeper. A brilliant counter attacking goal which must have took less than 10 seconds from defence to attack for the second goal

With 55 minutes gone and the visiting keeper was finally beaten again after a string of great saves. McCabe took a free kick from just outside the area right of centre and the keeper could only parry the strike with WOODGREAVES following in to blast high into the net.

Stonehaven pulled a goal back after 65 minutes when an unfortunate ricochet off Leslie was given as hand ball . The free kick on the corner of the 18 yard box was well taken at pace to the near post taking the score to 3-1.

This lifted Stonehaven even further and within 5-10 minutes pulled another one back. Again it was created by a failure to clear the ball which allowed a Stonehaven player to blast high past Douglas.

With five minutes to go WOODGREAVES cleverly lifted a high looping effort over the defenders and keeper for 4-2.
