Locos welcome Michie back

There were two selection surprises at Locos v Cove on Saturday.

While Cove fielded former Aberdeen, Dundee Utd and Inverness Caley Thistle player Stuart Duff, Locos fans were delighted to see former pocket dynamo Jamie Michie back in the ranks following his return from New Zealand.

Co boss Buchan said, “Jamie is back in the squad having just been signed up. He hasn’t played for a while in New Zealand so he needs to up his match fitness but it’s great to have him back in the fold”

This Saturday Locos are back on the road, this time to Banff and against a Deveronvale side who on Saturday held Formartine Utd to a 2-2 draw at Pitmedden

The Vale have former Nairn County Assistant Manager Ally MacLeod in as new boss, his No 2 Craig Stratton is well known to the Inverurie dressing room having been Locos Under 21 coach until last year.
