Ellon Rugby physiotherapist Muriel Nelson is retiring at the end of the season.
Muriel, who has been with the club for ten years, has worked with all sections, helping the juniors, youth, adults and seniors, with all aspects of injuries and recovery.
Club presiden,t Richard Porteous, said: “We would all like to thank Muriel for her dedication and support over the years
“Without her here to put us together again, we would have struggled.”
James Young, representing the adult teams, thanked Muriel by saying: “Without your help, my career in rugby would have been much shorter.”
The club will now be looking to arrange physio cover on match days from third and fourth year students from Aberdeen University, and weekday recovery from local company Ellon Physiotherapy.
