Ythan Amateur Swimming Club competitors were in top form at two recent local events which resulted in a massigve haul of medals and personal best times.
First up was the Peterhead Graded Meet, where seven swimmers - Lauren Astley, Harry Copeman, Lauren Duncan, Alannah Rae, Emily Riach, Jessica Riach and Calum Smith - were competing in selected events covering all strokes over 100m and 200m distances, with every swimmer achieving much-deserved personal bests.
There was medal success for Calum with gold in the 100m Freestyle and 100m butterfly, plus silver in the 100m breaststroke. Emily also picked up a bronze for her efforts in the 100m breaststroke.
