Callum Cooper maintains fine form in U14s

Ythan CC’s Callum Cooper maintained his winter-long form to finish second U14 at the Muckmedden MTB XC Race on Tayside, with the Peterhead Academy pupil’s first race in this age category proving to be a successful step up from the under 12s, writes Malcolm Grant.

Back home and the club was hosting the first local race of the year with the Dirt Crit in the grounds of Haddo House.

Weather conditions remained dry but a strong wind made the course extremely testing for the youth riders who were taking part.
