As the 2016 season draws to a close, Trump International Golf Links has announced David Kinnear as the first-ever Club Champion.
At a prize-giving dinner hosted at the clubhouse on Sunday November 6, members, family and friends gathered to honour the winners of the club competitions held throughout the 2016 season including the inaugural Club Championship.
In a tightly contested match between members David Kinnear and Alan Devlin on October 9 , there were no holes halved until past the turn when Mr Kinnear surged to victory on the 17 th hole.
Speaking at the prize-giving, Mr Kinnear reflected on his crowning as inaugural Club Champion.
He said: “It is a great honour to be the first name on the Club Championship trophy. I’ve enjoyed a great year as a member at Trump International and to walk away with this title is definitely the highlight.”
Since launching the Individual Membership package at the start of the year, Trump International has welcomed many new members to the club and established a series of regular competitions and team matches including home and away fixtures against other Scottish clubs including Trump Turnberry, Glen Earn, Dun Ochil and a side of Scottish Rugby Legends.

Annual membership is available to all and offers unlimited use of the golf course and practice facilities.
Membership is for 12 months from the day of sign-up with renewal required on the membership anniversary.
