Ellon & District Art Group members and invited craft makers held their first Christmas Fair at Ellon Bowling Club on Sunday (November 27).
The Clubhouse proved to be an ideal venue, with a steady flow of visitors throughout the day.
With Christmas gifts available on many stalls, from wreaths, cards, jewellery, knitting, crochet, woodcraft, stained glassware, festive candles, through to paintings and prints.
Teas, mince pies and fine pieces did a roaring trade throughout the day thanks to Nancy Smith and Sheila Noble.
The atmosphere, with Christmas carols and songs in the background and friendly stall holders, was described as very welcoming and a joy to shop amidst, with many of the visitors.
A donation was made from the organisers to Ellon Bowling Club as a thank you for the generous use of the Clubhouse, with cheers of approval from both visitors and stall holders present.
Organisers would also like to thank Phil Anderson Financial Services who financed banners and local traders who displayed posters to advertise the event.
