A popular Ellon man who died nearly a year ago will be remembered at a charity night in the Station Hotel on Saturday, April 23.
Bill Johnstone, who passed away last April, was a Parkinson’s victim and in the week in which the disease is being highlighted, his daughter Barbra believes it is appropriate her father is remembered.
She said: “Dad was a popular figure in the town and will be in all our thoughts when we attempt to raise funds for Parkinson’s in the Station Hotel.
“It was his favourite pub and I just hope his favourite football team Ellon United win that day.”
Tickets for the quiz, which is being organised by Hilary and Mick Gordon, are available in the hotel bar.
The event will get under way at 8pm.
All are welcome to come along.
