The National Trust for Scotland’s Castle Fraser is getting ready to treat its visitors this Halloween with a scarily good sweetie-themed event on 29 and 30 October.
The conservation charity is hosting Halloween events at a range of spook levels this October, all inspired by the horrible histories of its heritage sites.
Castle Fraser’s family-friendly fun will have visitors exploring the Wickedly Wonky castle. With its long history and rich heritage, there will be a few spooks in store.
A Wickedly Wonky Chocolate Challenge will take place on both days from 11am to 4pm.
Join the fancy dress competition at 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Entry on the day costs £8 per adult, £6 per child and family tickets are available for £24 at www.nts.org.uk.
Make sure you don’t miss the spooky fun!
Castle Fraser is an atmospheric baronial castle dating back to the 15th century and was the ancestral home of the Fraser family.
As you venture through the castle and up to the round tower, with its panoramic views of the gardens and estate beyond, you get a sense of life from the medieval to the Victorian period.
