The popular annual Collieston Gala is set to return next week and there is lots in store to keep everyone of all ages entertained.
The activities kick-off on Tuesday, August 2 with a Dog Show at the marquee field from 2pm (£1 entry).
On Wednesday, August 3 Children’s Boules will be held at the Bouledrome at 11am (free entry) followed by adults boules at 6.30pm (£5 team).
There is lots in store on Thursday, August 4 including a Gumboot dancing workshop, fancy dress parade and family night entertainment starting at 7.30pm.
On Friday, August 5 there will be a quiz followed by a disco at the marquee at 7.30pm (£3 adults, £2 concession).
The big Gala day will take place on Saturday, August 6 from 1pm to 4pm.
Head along for a BBQ, beer tent, cake and candy, tombola, plants, books, a visit from the RNLI, a beach stall, face painting, raffle, wood turning, fresh fish and pet food.
There will also be an Adventure Aberdeen Climbing Tower on the pier, archery in the marquee field, Bob’s Buddies owls, a giant slide and teas served from the CORC shed.
In the evening there will be a ceilidh with the Broadbay Ceilidh Band.
Doors to the event will open at 7.30pm with the band expected to play from 8pm to midnight (£5 adults, £3 concessions and under 16’s £1).
The final day of activities, Sunday, August 6, will begin with a Morning Church Service at 11.15am in the marquee.
The Costal Cafe will also be open for tea and cakes.
Those who purchase raffles on the Gala day should head to the Heritage Room at the hall for the Grand Raffle Draw at 1pm.
A Post Gala work party will meet at 1.30pm following the raffle draw to help take down the bunting and tidy up the village.
There will be jobs for all ages and abilities so anyone with free time to spare are welcome to come along and lend a hand.
