This year, Denise Goodwin returns in the role of director, charged with getting the cast into shape after the long summer break, not an easy task!

Clare McLean has written the script, embellishing the traditional story as usual with local quips, jokes and puns as well as playing the part of Jack’s brother Simon.

Bebhionn Paterson, a former pupil of Ellon Academy, continues into her second year as Musical Director.

The role of Jack is played by Fiona Cochrane who made her pantomime debut in last year’s Cinderella.

Love interest Jill is played by pantomime favourite Laura Cow while Sean Harrison is this year’s Pantomime Dame.

After Sean’s initiation with high heels last year he has never looked back.

Could he maybe find romance this year?

Local lad Michael Morrison has a BIG part to play, but what might that be?

Newburgh local and new to the Ellon stage, Clive Moss, takes on the role of Baron Wasteland whilst local thespian Liz Gollan plays the giant’s wife.

Many well-known faces make up the rest of the cast who, with their comedy acting and singing will give an audience of all ages, a couple of hours of fun and laughter in the traditional spirit of Christmas pantomime.

Make sure you buy your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as they are expected to be snapped up.
