For wonderful music and ballet that will take your breath away, feast your eyes on the Scottish Ballet’s Hansel and Gretel.

His Majesty’s Theatre welcomes this special performance on Wednesday, January 15, up to Saturday, January 18.

With music performed live from the Scottish Ballet Orchestra, the show promises to hit the perfect note every time.

The world premiere of Christopher Hampson’s Hansel and Gretel sees all the children disappear from a town in the 1950s.

Hansel and Gretel explore deep into the mysterious forest and see if they can find their friends. The new production sees exciting new surprises inspired from stories from people from Scotland. Hansel and Gretel will delight audiences both young and old with its packed programme of magic and wit and toys that might even come to life.

As well as the show there will be other activities happening in correspondence with the performance, ranging from free pre-show talks, a family insight and a ballet cafe.

Ballet Café: Wednesday, May 15 at 7pm - runs for two hours. Go along for a beginners’ ballet class before relaxing with refreshments and listening to behind the scenes tales from Highland Fling.
