Stephanie Bruce, Alasdair Corbett and Ryan Peacock have grown up in Peterhead and spent a lot of their time involved with various theatre groups.
Steph and Ryan first met through Peterhead Panto and were on stage in Robinson Crusoe together. More recently they have been treading the boards with Just Cause Productions in Aberdeen and Inverurie panto.
Alasdair, this year’s panto director, met Steph through panto and the pair also performed in Young at Heart. Ali and Ryan have a link through panto but also through the Aberdeen Student Show, where in last year’s show, ‘Mary Torphins’ Ali played cheeky chappy Dick Van Donald and Ryan was the director of the show.
Despite all of this the trio have never performed on stage anywhere together until now!
The three are appearing in Just Cause Productions show ‘Westend Nights, Broadway Lights’ which is a mixture of all the great songs from the Westend and Broadway.
This isn’t the first time this show has been in town and each time Ryan and the team are making sure there is a fresh show to see.
Ryan said: “I’m really looking forward to bringing the show to Peterhead as the past twice we were here we had such a good response.”
With a cast of ten this show is sure to provide a good selection of Musical Theatre old and new.
To make sure you don’t miss out on this one off performance, the show is at Peterhead community Theatre for one night only on Saturday, October 6.
Tickets are only £6 and available from Peterhead Community Centre on (01779) 477277.
